Gender Budgeting GB Scheme
The Ministry has been implementing the Gender Budgeting Scheme since 2007-08 with an objective of building capacity of the government officers at the central, state and district level to undertake gender budgeting. Under the scheme, grant-in-aid in the form of 100% financial assistance is given to government departments, national and state training institutes/organizations to conduct training and workshops on gender budgeting.
